This is an update from my earlier post two weeks ago.  I am running
Oracle 10g R1 on a dual Opteron 244 machine with 2 gig of RAM.

Every one or two days the instance on a test machine would crash.  I
have narrow it down to two things

1) it only happens when Enterprise Manager is running. (I run it on the
same machine, since I have only got one database).
2) It crashes sometimes when you are trying to do something to the
database via EM.
3) occasionally it was EM that crashed.
4) If I shut off EM, the database runs for 2 weeks without a hitch.


Can't seems to find any patch related to this on Metalink, there was
one listed under Itanium though.
